Terms and Conditions

By making a booking you confirm that you have read and agreed to the below terms and conditions.

                                                


About


  • We offer a secure 6 foot high fenced, ¾ acre paddock situated on the edge of Billinghay, Lincolnshire.  This offers a safe area for dogs and owners to enjoy off-lead fun, for dogs that are uncomfortable around other dogs, and a relaxed area to work on your recall.  If you feel the paddock is not secure enough for your dog, then this is probably not the field for you.


  • Your booking gives you exclusive use of the paddock, allowing you to spend quality time with your dogs.  Parking is situated inside the field so you can drive in, lock the gate, park up and release your dogs.  An enrichment area offers jumps, tunnel, straw bale, sniffing area where you can hide treats for your dog to sniff out.


  • Agility equipment to use includes jumps, tunnel, weaves, lowered see saw and a lowered dog walk.  Equipment is used at your own risk and is STRICTLY for dog use only.

  • There is a sheltered seating area for you to sit and watch your dog(s) play.                                                       


How It Works


  • Billinghay Dog Paddock is to be used solely for dog exercise and training.

  • Visits are strictly by appointment only.  Do not arrive earlier than your booked time.

  • Your first visit will include an induction to show you how the paddock works. Thereafter you will be sent the lock code prior to your arrival time. 

  • Do not enter if there is someone already in the field. 

  • Close and lock the gate behind you and park in the designated parking area.  Do not park on the roadside.

  • You must still leave promptly after your booked slot, even if you arrive late. Your slot will be for 20 minutes or 50 minutes whichever you booked.  Please leave promptly at the end of your session.  We allow a 10 minute time gap for the comfort of all users.  Always lock the gate when leaving, even if the next user is waiting.


Rules of the Field


  • Maximum of 6 dogs in the paddock from up to two households, with a maximum of 5 people and max 2 cars.  You agree to not let anyone else into the field other than the friends and family you have brought with you.

  • Do not drive on the grass.

  • Dogs must be up to date with their vaccinations and be regularly treated for worms, ticks and fleas.

  • Do not bring your dog if it has been unwell during the last 48 hours.  Doing so could be harmful to other dogs.

  • Never leave dogs unattended in the field.

  • If you share your slot with a friend/family member, it is your responsibility to make sure that they read and agree with these Terms and Conditions.  Dogs must be known to each other to share a booking.             

  •  Well behaved children are welcome when accompanied by a parent/responsible adult and be supervised at all times.  Please remember this is a dog exercise area not a playground.                                        

  • Agility equipment is for canine use only.

  • Children and adults MUST NOT climb in or on any of the agility or hoopers equipment.  Please do not let your dog jump over or run along the top of the tunnel.

  • Take all toys and rubbish home with you as these could be a choking hazard.

  • Please pick up your dog’s poo, there is a dog waste bin provided.

  • The field perimeter and equipment is checked daily but you are responsible to check it yourself before use.  Report any concerns to Kim 07759 921851.

  • Do not let your dog dig the grass or around the perimeter fencing.

  • No smoking allowed.

  • Please be mindful of neighbours and keep noise levels to a minimum.

  • Cancellations to be made by contacting Kim on 07759 921851.  Cancellations later than 24 hours before your booked slot are to be paid for otherwise your future bookings will be refused.  See Cancellation Policy.

  • You are required to pay for your slot before leaving the paddock.


Liability and Damage


  • The use of Billinghay Dog Paddock is entirely at your own risk. Billinghay Dog Paddock accepts no liability for the death of or any injury of any person or dog, or for damage to any property.  Billinghay Dog Paddock accepts no liability for any losses, claims, actions, damages, costs, expenses or any other liability incurred whilst onsite

  • Yours and your dog(s) behaviour and actions are your sole responsibility and no claim can be made against Billinghay Dog Paddock. 

  • You are liable for any damage caused inside and outside of the field by you, your dog(s) or any person in your party.  Billinghay Dog Paddock is not liable for any death, injury or loss to any person or animal whilst using the facility or equipment within it, or to any third party as a result of any person or dog.

  • The paddock boundary is checked regularly however you are advised to check it for yourself before letting your dogs loose.  The fence is 6 foot high and pegged down between wooden posts.  If you feel your dog may jump over the fence or squeeze through small gaps then maybe this isn’t the paddock for you.

  • You are advised to check the environment and equipment before use

  • The equipment is for canine use only.

  • Puppies and young dogs should not be encouraged to jump until they are fully developed.

  • The ground may be wet, muddy, uneven with nettles and suitable footwear should be worn for the conditions.

  • Any harsh treatment or verbal abuse towards dogs will result in you being asked to leave the premises and not return with no refund.

  • Equipment may be slippery in wet and icy conditions.

  • Fruit trees in the field; fallen fruit will be collected daily but it is your responsibility to check before use as these may be a choking hazard.  Fruit on trees for private use only and to not be picked.

  • Over hanging branches from trees may fall or have fallen and contain hazards consistent with the countryside.

  • There is livestock in the adjacent field.  Do NOT feed the horse.

  • Please report any accidents, incidents or damage to Kim 07759 921851

  • Billinghay Dog Paddock hold your personal information in a safe a secure environment.  It will not be shared with any third party.

  • Billinghay Dog Paddock reserve the right to change the Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.


Rescheduling/Cancelling


  • Bookings cannot be transferred to another person.

  • Appointments can be cancelled or rescheduled with a minimum of 24 hours notice.  Any cancellations after that period will be treated as a no show.

  • Repeat cancellations or 2 no shows will result in your future bookings being refused.

  • If you leave the field early, you will still be liable for the whole charge with no refund.
